My bathroom re-do, re-do!

This bathroom has been a long time coming. After spending a whole afternoon painting my guest bathroom, and finally realizing that the nasty ugly brown color that was showing up on my walls was actually going to stay that nasty ugly brown color...I just felt like throwing my hands in the air and giving up. I did something like that, cause my bathroom stayed this disgustingly poopy orange brown color for about 3 months. Gross.

I promise I had a vision. This was definately not it!

I was going for a beachy look, but I guess I was smokin' something when I picked this color out. I think the lighting in my bathroom made it look so nasty.

To make a long story short, I finally got the motivation after that huge let-down, to start over. I'm so glad I did cause it turned out to be EXACTLY what I was looking for.
(Ignore my nastiness in the mirror)

I love my "swim" sign. It is super cute! I wish that I could say, that I made it but I didn't. I am going to try and make one sort of like it that says "beach" on it. Or something like that. So we'll see how that goes!

I still need to find something to put on the second shelf of my towel rack! I was going to put my cute picture frame there but it didn't fit! Sea shells will do for now!
Let me know what you think!
As for me...I love it! It's my favorite room in the house!

The Cutest Danged Ornaments Ever Made....

So last year, a few days AFTER christmas, I stumbled upon these ADORABLE christmas ornaments! Aren't they the cutest???
I have honestly been excited for a whole year for this Christmas to come just so I could make these and put them on my tree! I've literally been losing sleep over it!
PLUS it's the first time that I've had a tree for almost 5 years...if you don't count the ugly blue tinsel one my room mate put up one year. Oh wow, was she a beaut!
I wish I could say that I made these up myself and that I have a wonderful creative mind but that would be a lie. I found them over at Craftaholics Anonymous. If you want the tutorial for it click here. And yes, if you were wondering, the link has been saved to my desktop for this whole year! :) LOVE THESE! Let me know what you think!

Stay tuned for a look at my whole christmas tree!

My Fall Wreath...

I won't lie. I REALLY am not a fan of Halloween. I'm just not into witches, and goblins, a blood, and skeletons and so on and so forth. It's just not my forte. I DO happen to like Fall though. There is just something about that cool crisp air and all the beautiful colors that just makes me feel so good. Because I do like the fall, I try to focus my home decor on the fall season rather than Halloween. I really wanted to make a wreath to hang on my door but I was having a really hard time getting inspired. No offense, but I'm not into the leafy/squashy/pumpkiny wreath stuff that's going on this year. It's just not my style. I wanted something that would help show off my personality and my style of decorating. An idea finally popped into my head so I wasted no time and got it done. I was just looking for something simple and cute. I learned how to make these flowers a few months ago and thought they'd go perfect on my wreath! Here's the finished product! Let me know what you think!

Love Natali

Holla!

Hello everyone! My name is Natali. I am making this blog because I want to be able to share my projects and ideas with the world. I have a personal blog but it is private so in order to be able to post to link parties and stuff I thought it would be a good idea to have a seperate public blog so you all can see! So here, I will post my ideas, projects, recipes, thoughts, and whatever else I feel like posting. I hope you all enjoy!
